Cox® Technic is utilized by physicians around the world to treat low back and leg pain, neck and arm pain as well as other spinal pain conditions (synovial cysts, degenerated discs, herniated discs, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, facet syndrome, etc.). 63.7% of US chiropractic physicians report that they use flexion distraction according to the 2010 National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Report. Around 3% of US chiropractors have been certified in Cox® Technic protocols.
Doctors are Certified in at least Lumbar Spine and may also have attained additional Certifications in Cervical Spine and Thoracic Spine. To be listed in the referral directory, a physician must hold certification in the lumbar spine.
This Referral Directory of those Chiropractic Physicians Certified in Cox® Technic procedures is established from doctors' attendance at special training courses in the Cox® Technic System of Spinal Pain Management (biomechanics, anatomy, examination, diagnosis, imaging, and the evidence-based treatment protocols) and completion of certification requirements.
The National University of Health Sciences Post Graduate Division (http://www.nuhs.edu/) maintains records for course completion for this referral network.
